Payback is an all-in-one app that connects employee benefits directly to the employee's bank account. Traditional benefit schemes rely on salary deductions, extra payment cards and money locked up in advance. Payback removes all three. Using open banking, the app identifies eligible transactions made with the employee's own card and automatically requests a refund, paid by bank transfer and funded by the employer. Employees track their refunds and balance in real time and only spend what they use. We built the entire mobile app and co-built the backend with Payback's CTO.
