Metyos is a smart biowearable that monitors potassium in real time through a painless skin patch, with no blood test required. It is built to help prevent dyskalemia, an abnormal potassium level that is unpredictable and can lead to severe consequences, which is why real-time monitoring makes the difference. The patch sends its readings directly to the patient's phone and to their doctor. The challenge was to turn data from a connected medical device into a clear mobile experience that patients can rely on. We developed the prototype of the Metyos mobile app, connected to the device over Bluetooth Low Energy, so users can track their potassium levels in the app. The project was presented at VivaTech Paris.
